Hinged Card Tutorial - TA-DA!!!

I have been telling myself forEVUH that I was going to start doing video tutorials for y'all . . . and at long last I finally DID one! I am so proud of me!! :) (I hate to admit that this took me the better part of today as the learning curve was a bit CURVIER that I had planned!)

I have been seeing these darling hinged cards all over place (SCS, blogs, etc.). I finally broke down and made this one yesterday for WT217 - to incorporate kraft cardstock into your card. I really like how this turned out, and it was dang fun, ta-boot!! Between the hinges and the watercolor roses I have been keeping myself MUI busy this week!

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Thoughts & Prayers
Paper: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Not Quite Navy, Bella Blue dsp
Ink: Not Quite Navy

And here is the tutorial . . . come back on Mother's Day (this Sunday!) as I will have another hinged card to show you that I made for my mom!!

    BRAVO Wendy...this was a fantastic video...clear instructions, great project and you didn't even studder...lol I'm so proud of you! I love this design, and yours is the first hinged card I've seen, so your card is my total reference point! Awesome job.

    Oh I LOVE it...and also the tip with the border punch! I love prettying up the corners, but don't have a lot of corner punches...what a great idea. TFS!

    Thank you Wendy! I have to hostess my monthly card club in June and have been hunting all over for an idea for something new to demonstrate at club! This is too cute! Now I just need to run out and buy a border punch (do you believe there's someone who doesn't have one yet?).

    Loved your card and your tutorial was so easy to follow. I loved that you gave us the sizes of each of the pieces of card stock. That helps to much! Thanks for the great idea in hiding the brad. Keep up the good work. I appreciate all you hints and I love following your butterflies.

    This is the COOLEST EVER hinged card I've ever seen. Just the border punch-turned-into-a-coordinating-corner punch was "worth the cost of admission". Oh, if I could only ever have an original thought of my own. Can't wait to try this! This one knocked my socks off!
