I think that "Field Flowers" is fast-becoming one of my new favorite sets. I've always been a little bit of a softie for two-step stamps, anyway. But this one is a keeper!!
This fun fold is called a Center Step Card. I've been seeing them around a lot lately (saw MANYMANYMANY at Convention!), but I hadn't tried one 'til I made this. Here is a link to a tutorial on SCS if you wanna check it out:
Center Step Instructions
I need to rob a bank ... or inherit some money from a long-lost relative ... or win the lottery OR Publisher's Clearing House (I guess it would help if I enter EITHER!) ... there are SERIOUSLY a lot of fun goodies I want/need in the new SU catalog! And the Holiday Mini that is coming out soon?? Fuhgeddaboudit!! I thought about trying to sell one of my kids ... but then dismissed the idea 'cause I think that might be a hard sell ... think I am just gonna hafta go through my stash of stamps and find some more to add to my "for sale" list ... that might cover what I have ALREADY bought!! Sheesh!

Wendy, this card is gorgeous! I love how the flowers pop out of the card. TFS!
ReplyDeleteI agree I love this set too. I love your card and the colors are great together. So good seeing you at Convention.
ReplyDeleteNOOO!!! Don't do this to me!! I love flower images and told myself I didn't need this set, but this is TOO GORGEOUS!! LOL...I might have to consider selling a kid, too!
ReplyDeleteWendy, this card is AMAZING!!! I have that stamp set on my to-buy list...wish I already had it! Love everything about this card!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the card, you inspired me to go and create 20 card bases, now I just have to dress them up. But I have a question, what size envelope are you using?
ReplyDeleteLisa
OK, Love the card...and agree with you on what more to sell to get what I want out of the new catalogues!!! Can't do one of the "kids" (they're 38 now, and too old to sell)...Hmmmmmmm-
ReplyDeleteHey, Lisa ... it's just a standard A2 size when it's finished (4.25" x 5.5"), so I use regular ol' A2 envelopes ... :)
ReplyDeleteLoved this..and now to try !Thanks so much for posting the tutorial spot. Your flowers are beautiful & really make the card!
ReplyDeletethis took my breath away - fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWow Wendy, this is beautiful! Fabulous! Amazing! :-)
ReplyDeleteNow I know why this set is on my list.
