Paper Craft Crew - PCC #252

Twice in one week??? And it's ONLY WEDNESDAY!!! Holy SMOKES!! New catalog goodies have been VERY helpful in motivating me to stamp something!! YAY ME!!! Paper Craft Crew is at it again! This week we are SKETCHING!!!

Pocketful of Sunshine??? WHAT??? How can you NOT fall in love with a stamp set called "Pocketful of Sunshine"??? I made the pocket have a little more of a "denim" look by dragging my Marina Mist inkpad across the paper from the top down and then from the bottom up ... does that make sense??? Anyway, I like how it came out!

Stamps: Pocketful of Sunshine
Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Gold Foil
Ink: Basic Black, Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Versamark
Accessories: Pocket Framelits Dies, Mini Treat Bags Framelits (for sentiment), Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon, Polka Dot Basics Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Corner Rounder Punch, Clear Embossing Powder

I love me a great sketch!!

Paper Craft Crew - PCC #241

Happy Paper Craft Crew Day!!! I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how much I "miss" doing my "several-times-a-week" paper crafting!! I am ever-so-thankful for my blog hop teams, like the Paper Craft Crew, who are keeping me with at least my little TOE in it!!! Wedding is less than three weeks away ... AAAAAAACK!!! THEN I can clean my house ... clean my crafty space ... and get back on some sorta "normal" schedule ... whatever the heck THAT means!!

I LUUUURRRRVE this little bumble bee!!! I mean, seriously??? Could he "bee" any cuter???? I think not!!! And then, of course, I also had to add the hexagon textured background ... because ... HONEYCOMB!!!! Spring is really happening!!! This was the longest freakin' winter of ALL TIME!!! I didn't think it was EVER going to give up!!! SHEESH!

Stamps: Lift Me Up
Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Neutrals DSP Stack, Silver Foil
Ink: Basic Gray
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits (I think these are my most FAVE framelits right now!), Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Gold Sequin Trim, Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Paper Craft Crew - PCC #239

Well, well, well!!! Would ya LOOKIE here!!! I am blogging!!! I am ACTUALLY BLOGGING!! I feel like I am SO out of the loop!!! I am still busily working on my daughter's wedding stuff ... something that is taking a LOT of time! I'm enjoying it, but it's sucking up ALL my extra time (if there even IS such a thing in my universe!!)!!! Thank goodness for the Paper Craft Crew and their challenges!!! They have given me a REASON to create!!

Spent a good portion of Tuesday morning at the florists. We were looking at #alltheflowers. Don't you just LOVE the smell of fresh flowers???? I know I do! Which is what inspired me to make my card for this week's challenge ... which was to use some sort of metal embellishment ... but I was thinking FLOWERS!!!

Stamps: Beautiful You
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Watercolor
Ink: Basic Black, Watercolor Pencils (Rich Razzleberry)
Accessories: May Flowers Framelits, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, Mini Paper Clips, Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Project Life Corner Rounder Punch, Aqua Painter

Easy enough, right???

Paper Craft Crew #223!!! Wahoo!!

Am I lucky or WHAT???? I was asked about a month ago if I would like to join along with the amazingly creative peeps at the Paper Craft Crew Challenge ... are you KIDDING??? It took me a while to get my brain wrapped around the schedule (I shall blame the holidays for that!) ... but I actually got 'er done this week!!! And I was trying VERY hard to NOT make a Christmas card (not that there is anything WRONG with making a Christmas card ... in fact, I have yet to START my "official" Christmas cards, but I digress). I pulled out some of my new goodies from the upcoming Occasions Catalog ...

When your house is festooned (good word, eh??) with red, green, white, silver, gold and the like for the holidays, it is VERY VERY VERY difficult to use a color combo that isn't in THAT scheme. Trust me ... I struggled ... a LOT!!! And now I have yet another stack of "tools" which need to be put away. Maybe when I'm done with this blog post I shall go into the CAVE with a rake and shovel ... wish me luck!!

Stamps: That's the Tag
Paper: Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Pool Party
Ink: Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette
Accessories: Layering Circles Framelits, Lace Doilies, Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 3/8" Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (SAB)

Great sketch!!!

If you guys don't hear from me in the next few days, just assume that the Glitter Monster nabbed me and dragged me into the Great Crafty Black Hole. I really should "clean as I go" ... what a NOVEL idea!! (and, by the way ... thanks for letting me be a part of the Paper Craft Crew, Pam Staples!!!)
