Monday Montage #40

NUMBER 40!!! How AMAZING is THAT??? SO proud to be part of this groups of incredibly-talented friends ... and so happy to share some "space" with them on this blog hop!!! I get SO many great ideas from EACH and EVERY one of them!!! And their friendships are beyond words ... so grateful!!

My stamp room is, quite honestly, a tornado zone. There is not ONE flat surface this is NOT covered with stuffs ... and it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me to create ANYthing!!! So I am vowing, as soon as I publish this blog post, to confine myself there until I have picked up EVERYthing!!! I may be there for a while ... wish me LUCK!! (I'm going in with a shovel and a fork lift!)

Fab Friday #60

It's another happy Fab Friday Challenge!!! Most EXCELLENTE'!!! This is an exceptionally awesome Friday because my daughter's friend (who is also my friend's daughter) is getting MARRIED today!!! So very happy for her!!!

I lost my groove ... I was about halfway through this card when my doorbell rang and I had a neighbor come in to visit (which was great!)! Then aNOTHER friend showed up ... and by the time I got back to this I had absolutely NO GROOVE left whatsoever. Ended up spending another whole HOUR trying to get this thing finished ... my brain was already in sleep mode, so I was struggling!!! That's why we call this a CHALLENGE, my friends!! I was DEFINITELY feeling it this time!!!

Springing Into Spring with the Freaks!

Happy Spring!!! I know, I know ... we're not "officially" there YET ... but with as WARM as weather has been here in Utah, it seems it has already started!!! (Sorry to all my snowbound friends!!) Did you see the happy and bright springtime creations Justin Krieger made??? SO FUN!!

Not quite sure what I had in mind when I started this particular card ... somehow what came out was something other than what I had pictured. However ... I DO like my flower!! The lightweight feel of the Typeset Specialty DSP is PERFECT for laying/scrunching up a flower!!! Oh how I LOVE when the flowers start blooming (and yeah ... they started blooming here over a month ago ... just PRAYING that Ol' Man Winter doesn't come BACK and slay them all!!)!

Stamp Review Crew - Project Life Point & Click Edition

Holy cow!! Today has NOT been my day (I am typing this on Sunday evening ... most of the day was great ... until about two hours ago!)!! I totally KILLED my Big Shot ... as in DOA ... as in non-repairable ... as in flat-lined ...

So I was FRANTICALLY looking at ways that I could create withOUT one!!! Do you KNOW how HARD that is???? SHEESH!!! I did a lot of improvising ... and sweating ... and FINALLY got this creation done!!! AND I have already placed an order for a new one ... because I have discovered that I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT ONE!!! Sigh ...

Monday Montage #39

My husband and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary (which is kind of amazing since I am only 27!) ... so I was happy to have something fun to create for our Monday Montage Blog Hop for my husband ...

I had to have my Silhouette fixed right around Christmas ... I didn't get it back until sometime in late January ... FINALLY pulled it out to create this card. Sadly, it still seems to be having a cranky fit about some things, so I really had to work with it to get it to cut ANYthing close to what I wanted. I will be happy when I get it working properly again ... I have MISSED it!

Fab Friday #59

Whoa, Nellie!!! The past week has be ca-RAYzy in my universe!!! Ya know how sometimes it feels like you have "nothing" (so to speak) on your calendar, and then WHAM!! Everything falls on top of everything else???? Since last Thursday I had a wedding shower for my friend's daughter (who is also my daughter's friend! Hahaha!), spent two days at a girl's youth camp, worked two full days at my job (for which I am part time), and spent THREE days in Disneyland!!! I think I am toast!! And I STILL need to write an epic blog post ... from an event that happened last October ... and I wanna do it justice ... but I digress ...

Welcome to Fab Friday!!! (Yesterday seemed like a Monday to me, so I am TOTALLY messed up!)!! I was actually going to bail on this week's challenge because I am semi-brain-dead at the moment ... but I just decided to get 'er done (I think I have only missed one Fab Friday since its inception ... possibly two). Butterflies always make me happy, so I just decided to jump in with BOTH feet (and both of my butterfly punches!)!

It's another go-round with the Stamp Review Crew ... and this time we are "reviewing" some AWESOME ideas for the "Sheltering Tree" stamp set (LOTS and LOTS of fun ideas!!)!!

Purdy, purdy, PURDY!!! I LOVE this tree image! I have seen ALL the seasons done with it in such spectacular fashion that it made me kind of nervous to try something ... not sure it's easy to make this look a whole lot "different" from many of the things I've already seen, but it doesn't really matter because it looks good pretty much no matter WHAT you do with it!!
