Monday Montage #216








It's Sunday evening, Father's Day and Monday Montage ... not to mention the weekend is over already! But my fellow Monday Montagers and I still home some fun and pretty things to share with y'all ... so c'mon along!






Customizable newspaper front pages ... how cool is this??? I cut some 1" strips from the Regals DSP to use as the backdrop to this birthday front page ... so much fun! I added a couple of pieces of 3/4" Frayed White Ribbon and a handful of Champagne Rhinestones and VOILA! This one came together pretty quickly, even with a bit of fussy cutting.






The rhinestones add just enough bling to the birthday candles and the headline ... perfect for a happy birthday celebration!

Favorite In Colors with the Freaks - 2022 Edition!





It's time to play with the Control Freaks one again! Did you see Melissa Davies ' ADORABLE card?? Check it out if you haven't ... I LOVE IT!! This month we are highlighting our favorite new In Colors ... and the choice for me was very easy!

I am a GREEN freak (as well as being a Control Freak!)!! Parakeet Party is right up my alley!!

When I was about 5 years old my sweet mama painted my bedroom pink ... and my furniture was antiqued green ... which means I have always loved the combo of green and pink together. Hence, my card!

Swimsuits and gingham are such a good combo, don't you think? I'm not sure if the Baker's Twine bows are a little too much, but I decided that they were ok!


Next up? Cindy Elam! Her cards are beautiful!!

Monday Montage #215







It's Monday Montage time again, my friends!! I have done more crafting this week than I have during any other week in a loooooong time! (I'm participating in a 7-day scrapbook challenge on Instagram and it's been keeping me busy!).

I got to dig into a few of my fun new goodies ... and used some DSP that retired with the last mini catalog ... couldn't help myself!


I am LOVING the amount of fun, new masculine sets in this year's catalog! Having been on MANY week-long canoe trips with my hubby, I KNEW that this set was a MUST HAVE! It's just SOOOO good! This is where I couldn't resist using the Waves of the Ocean DSP that came out in the last mini catalog and retired last month.  It is just too-too perfect for this set!

I colored the canoe with my Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends and the guy's hat and oars with the Bermuda Bay Blends.  I also used the Blue Foils DSP behind the Waves DSP ... it's just such a great combo!






I tucked a little big of black and white Gingham Ribbon under the edge (and can see from the photo that I didn't press the top layer down all the way before I took the photo ... YIKES!)! I'm pretty happy with how this turned out!

Feeling QUITE happy with the turn in the weather ... I'm thinking we may FINALLY be coming out of snowy weather and COOOLD temps and moving into SUMMER!! YAY!!

We Create Blog Hop - My NEW Favorite Things






This is going to be a very quick "fly-by" kind of post! Life has been more than busy lately!  This month the WCBH ladies are sharing some of our new favorite things from the 2022-2023 Stampin' Up Annual Catalog! Woot! Woot! Let's get to it!!




The new In Colors this year are OFF THE HOOK!! I think I love every single one of them!! I paired some of the new Pale Papaya and Sweet Sorbet with one of my all-time favorites, Coastal Cabana! I also used the new Sending Smiles stamps/dies and the Gingham Embossing Folder. LOVELOVELOVE!
