Vellum ... I love it, yet I'm afraid of it!! Ink slides off of it, embossing folders can tear it, it is tricky to adhere to other stuff without seeing the adhesive ... you can overheat it with a heat gun and ruin it ... but it is soooooooo purdy!!
This was for a VSN challenge to dry emboss on vellum. I hafta admit I kinda cringed when I read the challenge. I don't always have the best success when doing this ... but I really love how this turned out. Sent it to my aunt and uncle for their 54th wedding anniversary. That made me happy!
After having had about 6 inches of new snow between Monday night and Tuesday morning, I am happy to report that the sun is shining, the snow is melting and it should get back up into the 50's today. Hooray!!

Your Anniversary card is stunning!!! I so agree with you on vellum, I am scared to death of it. *smile* Enjoying your creations. I saw your link at Paper Punch Addiction. Hugs,
Gorgeous card!! I love this E.F!! Definately going to give this one a try....how many times did it take to get one "right"? I'll multiply that # by 10...at least!!! Great job!!
I'm sure they absolutely adored it...
as does all your family awaiting your cards on "their" days!!
This is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I can not live another moment without this embossing folder -- I'm not sure how I've lived this long without it!!
Is this from SU? I must have it - I did a google search and am not coming up with a source. If you have a minute, could you let me know where you bought it?

That is gorgeous. The vellum looks wonderful over the concord crush. At first I thought you did that by hand til I saw it was an EF. I thought maybe you stamped an image and traced it from behind with a stylus. Beautiful card!
Wow, Wendy~
Gorgeous Anniversary card! Did you hand emboss it with a stylus, or use some folder? It is incredibly gorgeous.
I often try to hide the adhesive in the corners....either with ribbon trim, or use brads, or put a flower...but this card is so elegant as it is! You should make more of these!
I like what you have done to your blog! I am glad to not see extra "floaters" before my eyes!
lol
Thanks for being you...YOU are wonderful!

Wendy, however scared you may be of vellum, you've done a beautiful job with this - it's a really pretty card, and they will be thrilled with it. I havent' tried vellum yet, but I do like the effect. Keep up the good work! You're an inspiration.
