... you KNOW you ALL have stamp sets that you just HAD to buy ... and then they came home to your craft space only to be shelved ... FOR-EV-ER!!! I got the idea for the Free for All Challenge that I posted on SCS for today from my BFF, Jan (the infamous JanTink). Every year she has a "Festival of Uninked Stamps" over on her blog. She makes cards with those poor, neglected stamps.
So I made that the challenge on SCS and made this card using Herb Expressions. I can't tell you HOW many times I have pulled this set out ... stared at it ... then put it back in the cupboard. Poooooor baby!! It has been sitting and feeling oh-so-alone on the shelf ... Even though it is SURROUNDED by LOTS and LOTS of other stamps!! So I decided to show it some love ...
Stamps: Herb Expressions, French Filigree
Paper: Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla
Ink: Concord Crush, Wisteria Wonder, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery
Accessories: Ticket Corner Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Folder, Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals

so pretty! love the color combo! I might play along tonight when Kathy gets here!
THANK YOU for the kick in the butt to get this set out! I have done the same thing!!! I HAD to have it - and it has never seen the outside of the case. I need to make a little gift for a gardener friend - this forgotten set will be perfect.
Your card is simply beautiful. LOVE the new colors.

Hi Wendy!
You did a great job with this card. I love the colors and the layout and the swirls on the dp bg!
I love this stamp set. I like to do gardening cards...and this is perfect for this time of year especially. Instead of making a large card from it...make a simple note card...or send it to your shoe-sister, and she will make a bunch for you!

(Does the "S" stand for Shoe-Sister, I wonder! LOL)
