Circles & Rectangles Challenge

For the challenge I posted on SCS for the Free for All today I decided to do a sketch. I seem to get stuck in the same type of layout ALL. THE. TIME.

So I decided to shake it up a bit with this card (which is based on one I did back in June HERE, at least as far as the layout goes). I like adding lots of different patterns and textures together (which, oddly enough, is weird since I didn't use a SINGLE embossing ANYthing on here!). I'm still likin' my Groovy Grape. And I'm having issues with the name of one more color ... Crumb Cake (formerly known as Kraft). I swear the first thing that comes to my mind for THAT one is "Cookie Crumb" ... I think SU shoulda just called ME first and asked me for names!!

Happy to have a weekend where I am not going out of town for a change. It will be nice to resume a more normal schedule now that the kididdles are back in school.

Stamps: Day of Gratitude
Paper: Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard
Accessories: Circle Scissor, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches, Paper Piercing Tool, Very Vanilla Seam Binding, Pearl Stickers

Very cool Wendy. It must have taken you an eternity to ink up that large stamp. I've got the set, but haven't attempted that one yet! Thanks for the inspiration friend!

Great layout! I love the "groovy grape" too! And I think I like your names better than SU's...they should have called you!

This is so super pretty! I didn't think too much of that stamp set when I saw it in the catty, but now that I see your card, I have totally changed my mind! Love the colors and the sketch.

You are very evil Wendy.... I looked at that stamp in the mini and said nope, not gonna happen.... and now I think I just might have to buy it!!

You made it look so pretty, and I love all the colors on the main image. Great card!

Hi Wendy~

This is my 2nd attempt to send this comment. If the first one shows up...pick the best one, and delete the other! LOL

This card is super! I have wondered how you could stamp multi colors on each section, and still get a good image? One giant sized HUFF on it? How did you do it?

I love this! I think it would be wonderful for a Thanksgiving card.

Miss you.

He IS Able, (important post today.)
