Paper Punched Flowers Tutorial

FINALLY!! As promised ... I was able to get my production staff (aka one of my kids) to take a little bit of time out of their oh-so-busy lives to help me film this tutorial. I dare say my son did a pretty good job, but he learned a few things and will be even BETTER next time around!! I need to grow longer fingers ... and longer fingernails ... seems my hands match my feet ("Fred Flintstone-ish!" Yabba-Dabba-DOO!)! Fred Flintstone

These paper flowers are really fun to make. Not that difficult, and they add a LOT to whatever you are doing ... 'cept, maybe a "dude" card!

Stamps: Dream Gardens
Paper: Concord Crush, Pale Plum, Very Vanilla
Ink: Concord Crush
Accessories: 5-Petal Flower Punch, Fancy Flower Punch, Nestabilities Labels Four, 3/4" Circle Punch, EK Success Tulips Border Punch, Paper Crimper, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Pearl Stickers, Pop-Up Glue Dots

Wonderful tutorial, Wendy. I love both flowers. I have been embossing my punched flowers before punching them out and it really gives additional texture to the flowers. My favorite folder to use is the SU Lattice one (I think that is the name of it). I had not thought of clipping of petals like you demmonstrated here and can't wait to try it. YOu did a great job and I loved hearing your sweet voice.

Awesome video -- your son did a great job! I love your card and will definitely try the flowers - thank you so much for your sharing spirit.

PS I have Fred Flintstone feet also, I thought I was the only one who described them that way LOL

GORGEOUS card! I thank you so much for your awesome tutorial. I love the flowers, especially the lily or it could be a magnolia flower too.

WOW! Wendy you and your son did an extraordinary job on this tutorial! I love how the flowers come out. The lily looks like it could be a beautiful gardenia also! I absolutely love the
"1-2-3-4-5 Rule!" You were so cute in this...having so much fun with that one stubborn glue dot! lol

Your card is amazing! I love it! I think I need to get the "rose" punch! I don't think I have anything that cuts that shape. I'll have to look through my Cricut cartridges...maybe it will cut them.

Thank you so much for making this! And, it was nice to hear your voice...it's been a super long time! hint! hint!

Happy Mother's Day!

His,
Traci
