Fruits & Veggies!!

I am FINALLY able to share with you the project I started on World Cardmaking Day last Saturday (lest you think I was a SLACKER and didn't create ANYthing!!). My BFF, Cheryl, came over and we cut out LOTS of fruits and veggies with my trusty ol' Cricut (we were each making four sets of cards ... and I ended up adding two more fruits after she left!). So ... that makes 32 cards!! I'm so proud of me!! Aren't these stinkin' ADORABLE??? I got the idea from Ally Egaas HERE.

Cherries and pears ...

I had SOOO much fun creating these. I mean, who DOESN'T love cute fruits and veggies, right??? (If you happen to be someone who doesn't like 'em, don't tell me ... I don't wanna know!!)

Avocados and pumpkins ...

I know I am FOR SURE gonna give one set to my sweet mother-in-law. It was her birthday last week ... she turned 81 and she doesn't look a day over 60!! I actually gave her a card and a hug that day, but couldn't figure out what to give her as an actual gift. That is what inspired this whole project to begin with ...

Apples and grapes ...

I kind of got carried away, too!! It was MUCH harder than I expected to choose background patterned papers to go with each fruit or veggie (not to mention the ribbon!! Soooo glad I recently did a ribbon exchange with my upline/sideline and had a bunch of new stuff to choose from!)!!

Lemons and plums ...

I struggled the most with my cute little lemon (one of my FAVES in the set) ... trying to find patterned paper almost stumped me ... until I dug into my new Christmas stash!! YEP!! The cute gingham is from Frostwood Lodge, friends!!

Ta-DAAAA!!! I am really happy with how these turned out! It's going to be FUN to give them away as gifts ...

Wendy, these are adorable cards! I love all of them, and you did a wonderful job matching the fruit/veggie with the background! The ribbons look like they came with the card. This looks like it all came together as a kit. You did a fabulous job putting it all together!

He IS Able!

These are so cute! Thanks for the inspiration - I recently purchased the preserves cartridge but wasn't sure what to do with it. I hope you don't mind if I scraplift a bit!
